We help and support people living in poor situations especially:
Vulnerable women, particularly widows. We want to see women to transform from a state of hopelessness to a state of excellence hence freeing them from exploitation and fully exhausting their potential.
Displaced people because of internal conflict and people living in extreme poverty. EACO also campaigns for poverty reduction as HIV/AIDS prevention and human rights awareness and provides direct support to women and children who have been orphaned as a result of the poverty, HIV/AIDS, violence, and displacement by war or conflict.
Victims of HIV/AIDS. People who are poor and ill with AIDS are vulnerable to social isolation, depression, and the inability to care for their own and their family’s basic needs; Children are often forced to leave school to care for their dying parents. We belief that every human being is a unique individual and that we all have a right to good health and basic needs and should access means to a comfortable life in one way or another.
Vulnerable children, youth, and the elderly. EACO provides physical and psychosocial support to marginalized and at-risk women, vulnerable children & orphans, youth and the elderly living in the Mukono district. The organization empowers these groups of people through economic development, which it achieves through education programs, vocational training, and the provision of health care.
